Anis El Fahem, Small Business Support National Program Manager said in an interview with African Manager the bank’s objective in 2013 was to support 35 businesses, but for this year it projects 170 businesses under the Advice for Small Businesses Program.
“We will ensure that the demand on the market is met by mobilizing the EBRD’s resources and know-how,” he said.
The EBRD official also added that now there is an effort to be made at the level of the communication so that the intervention instruments of the EBRD are known to the Tunisian businesses.
“It is very important for the company to be aware of the need for advice and technical assistance,” he added.
