A grant contract between the European Union Delegation in Tunisia and non-governmental organization Enda inter-arabe, worth EUR 1.2 million was signed Friday at the seat of the delegation.
This amount represents 40% of the total cost of the action for a period of four years.
The contract aims to expand the distribution of microfinance services in the country, giving priority to disadvantaged areas.
This action makes use of performing technologies, thanks to branchless banking, which requires the development of innovative and mobile applications to provide micro-loans to 400,000 people over a period of four years.
