The European Union will open “soon, probably in the first half of 2013,” negotiations for a free trade agreement with Tunisia, according to European sources quoted Tuesday by AnsaMed.
Official negotiations on the same front are also open with Morocco so regulations and procedures abide by European standards, the sources said.
With regard to Egypt and Jordan, preparations are still at an early stage.
