Exports of food industries reached 1.5 billion Tunisian dinars during the first nine months of 2012.
Despite the turmoil, forecasts indicate a growth exceeding 2 billion dinars by the end of the year, Noureddine Agrebi, Director General of Food Industries told Africanmanager.
The official said that efforts are underway to export more fruits and vegetables, dates as well as processed products.
