Tunisia: FDIs go up in January and February 2012

Foreign direct investments showed a positive trend of about 35.2%, during the months of January and February 2012, compared to the same period of 2011 and 5.9% over the same period in 2010.

This increase appears in the entry in production of 20 new businesses and 49 operations of expansion of existing projects, contributing to the creation of 1,425 jobs.

Overall, FDIs amounted in value to 291.2 million dinars against 215.3 MTD in the same period of 2011 and 275.1 MTD during the corresponding period of 2010.
