Tunisia: foreign exchange reserves pick up again thanks to EU

Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) were the equivalent of 21.174 billion Tunisian dinars, representing 145 days of imports, As of June 1, 2021

These reserves stood at 20.148 billion TD, representing 139 days of imports, as of May 31, 2021.

This increase by 926 MDT or six days of imports in so few days is explained by the disbursement of €300 million from the European Union.
