Tunisia: foreign exchange reserves stabilize at 92 days of import

According to the latest (provisional) indicators of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), the Bank’s net foreign currency assets stabilized at 92 days of import on December 27, 2018, i.e. 12,519 million dinars against reserves covering 114 days of import at the end of December 2016.

As a result, the banknotes and currencies in circulation reached 11.645 MTD as of December 26, 2017.

As for the overall volume of refinancing, it reached 10,807 MTD as of December 27, 2017.
