Tunisia: French companies seek win-win partnership with software firms

Major French companies specialized in new information and communication technologies (ICT) are looking for a win-win partnership with Tunisian software firms.

During the first edition of Digital Partnership Days, held from Thursday to Friday in Gammarth (Northern suburb of Tunis), a dozen French companies presented their products and the operating mechanisms of their computer systems.

For example, NTX research, a leading information systems software security editor, seeks to carry out collaborative projects through outsourcing or co-contracting.

Another company, specializing in information dedicated to passengers of public transport, needs to develop software by outsourcing or co-contracting, allowing easy access to information wherever the traveler is.

These new projects can be accommodated in clusters like that of El Ghazela which cooperates closely with French Systematic Park, Paris Region, established in 2005 and bringing together 400 SMEs (small and medium enterprises), employing 2,000 people including 400 occupying direct employment.

Almost 329 projects have been created by this park for a total investment of 1 billion Euros.
