Germany pledged to convert 30 million dinars of Tunisian debt into investments in projects for poorest regions said Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem, at the end of a meeting, Tuesday, with a German parliamentary delegation.
The German parliamentary delegation is paying a visit to Tunisia from December 18 to 20 to learn about the political situation in the country and development projects carried out within the framework of Tunisian-German partnership, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation is composed of Andreas Schockenhoff, Vice-President of the German Parliamentary Group of the Christian Democratic Union/Social Democratic Union (CDU-CSU) and Johannes Selle, Commissioner for Economic Cooperation and Development.
