An IMF delegation is currently staying in Tunisia to assess the economic situation and reforms undertaken in the country and consequently release the third tranche of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Chedly Ayari said at a meeting held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Tunis.
He further indicated that the process of assessment of the economic situation has already started and will continue until December 11.
The IMF will make public its report on the economic situation of Tunisia before December 15 and this after the meeting of its board of directors.
A meeting between Tunisian officials and the IMF is expected to take place in January 2018.
