The inflation rate reached 5.6% in September 2014, falling for the second consecutive month by 0.2 points against 5.8% in August and 6% in July, according to the latest figures released, Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
However, the rate of inflation, excluding food and energy, stood at 4.9% in September. It was 6.2% for free products against 4.3% for regulated food products.
