The inflation rate of 5.3% recorded during the last month is convenient, said Trade Minister Ridha Lahouel at a press conference held Monday, June 15 at the headquarters of his department.
Indeed, the inflation rate was down from 0.4% to 5.3% during the month of May 2015 against 5.7% in April.
This decrease is due, according to the Minister, to price control and the decline of prices of several groups of food products, beverages and energy.
