Italy has granted Tunisia a donation of € 1.6 million. A relevant agreement was signed Tuesday, January 28, 2014, between Tunisia and Italy, according to a statement from the Ministry of Development and International Cooperation.
This amount will contribute to the achievement of development, economic and social objectives in the governorate of Tataouine, in particular the fight against poverty through the creation of jobs in the agri-food sector.
It also provides for the creation of two projects that will help value the economic potential of the livestock sector for the production of meat and milk processing in the region of Ramada.
