Magasin Général (MG) announced that it has achieved a net profit of 9.2 million dinars at the end of the first half of the current year, compared with 10.4 million at the same period in 2017.
The total income of the company reached 450.5 million dinars at the end of last June against 427.9 million a year earlier, i.e. a growth of 5.3%.
Operating expenses rose from 420.1 million dinars to 442.5 million between June 2017 and June 2018.
Operating income for the period thus went up by 4.7% to 8 million dinars against 7.7 million at the end of June 2017.
In addition, the company’s net financial expenses post a significant increase of 40% compared to the first half of last year, amounting to 9.2 million dinars.
