Tunisia: Monoprix improves sales by 8% to end September at 545 million dinars

Monoprix’s sales at September 30, 2024 were 7.7% higher than in the same period in 2023, at 545.2 million dinars.

Excluding sales related to the national distribution of extra virgin olive oil (at 15 dinars/liter and 0% margin), sales growth was 5.2%.

Financial income and expenses are lower overall in 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

The decrease in financial income from 4.9 to 3.9 million dinars is mainly due to the decrease in dividends received from SNMVT subsidiaries and the exceptional financial income in the third quarter of 2023 (short-term investment following the capital increase by SNMVT).

In addition, the number of active points of sale is now 85 following the opening of the Riadh Al Andalous point of sale in February 2024 and the closure of the Bab El Khadhra and Ettadhamen points of sale.
