The stock market started the week on an optimistic note. The benchmark index recorded a 0.36% gain on Monday, reaching 15,584.07 points, with a modest trading volume of 7.1 million dinars, according to broker Tunisie Valeurs.
ICF posted the best performance of the session. The stock of the aluminum fluoride producer surged by 5.7% to 86.950 dinars, on a trading volume of 367,000 dinars.
ASSURANCES MAGHREBIA rose by 3.2% to 74.000 dinars, with exchanges totaling 423,000 dinars.
STIP recorded the steepest decline of the session. The stock of Tunisia’s sole tire manufacturer fell by 4.4% to 7.130 dinars, with a low trading volume of 35,000 dinars.
OFFICEPLAST was also among the weaker performers. The office and school supplies specialist’s stock dropped by 2% to 1.950 dinars, with a total trading volume of 476,000 dinars.
ATTIJARI BANK topped the session’s trading activity. The subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank group rose by 2.8% to 73.900 dinars, generating trading capital of 1.2 million dinars.
