The number of unemployed people decreased from 738,000 in 2011 to 653,000 in 2013, Zied Ladhari, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training said, Monday, April 6, 2015.
The minister said, however, at a press conference that the number of unemployed university graduates has increased by 31.4% and the majority of unemployed graduates are women.
Ladhari said the pressure on the labor market will continue until 2017 where every year will see an influx of 79,000 new job seekers.
