Tunisia’s olive harvest will reach 280,000 tons this year, said Minister of Agriculture Lasaad Lachaal.
Compared to last year’s harvest which was 70,000 tons, this year’s production will increase by 400%.
The minister said a national plan has been put in place to protect the crop from excesses and make best use of it.
