Tunisia: openness to European industries, a strategic choice (Minister)

“European industries have no choice now but to genuinely share business functions with the southern Mediterranean,” said Minister of Industry Mehdi Jomaa who took part in the closing of the forum of the Euro-Mediterranean Competitiveness Confederation (EMCC) in 2013 organized by the Euro-Maghreb Institute of Economic Studies and Prospective (IPEMED), December 5, 2013 in Paris.

While emphasizing the importance of this event, he recalled that Tunisia, privileged EU country in 2011, has sought to strengthen its ties with its partners in the Euro-Mediterranean area convinced as it is that the external openness of its economy is a strategic choice for the country.
