The AL-KHOUTAF Group, Tunisia’s leading packaging company, is still suffering losses. After a net deficit of 3.5 million dinars in 2015, the Group has announces it had a consolidated net loss of around 3.8 million dinars in 2016.
Despite an 8.4% drop in operating expenses to 17.9 million dinars, the latter remain higher than the total revenues which stood at 15.2 million dinars, compared with 16.8 million dinars at the end of December 2015, thus registering a decline of 9.8%.
In this respect, the consolidated operating result shows a deficit of 2.7 million dinars. Net financial expenses rose by 18.5% to 1.12 million dinars against 950 thousand dinars a year earlier.
Moreover, according to the report of the auditor, the total debt of the company reached an outstanding of 15.5 million dinars at the end of December 2016.
