Tunisia is expected to see a recovery in passenger traffic and tourism over the next six months, thanks to reduced security fears, according to Counter Intelligence Retail (CiR).
The latest Business Lounge analysis, CiR’s data feed, confirms earlier reports that tourism to the North Africa region, particularly Egypt and Tunisia, is rebounding.
Thus, tourism in Tunisia is expected to increase + 9.0% over the next six months (between November 2017 and March 2018).
Flows from Europe are particularly promising and are expected to grow by + 10.4%, the largest increase will be recorded by Germany (+ 34.1%), followed by France (+ 14.6%).
As for passenger traffic, it should go up by 12.9% during the next semester, according to Business Lounge.
