The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) has adopted a draft law on a cooperation agreement between Tunisia and Germany.
The bill was adopted with 132 votes for, 10 abstentions and one against. Under the agreement signed in January 2015, Germany will enable the Tunisian government to obtain loans and grants to the tune of EUR 86.9 million from the German Development Bank (KFW).
The interest rate is fixed at 0.75% with a repayment period spanning 40 years, including 10 years of grace.
