Qatari Diar Company has just received the building permit from the competent services in the governorate of Tozeur for the construction of a Saharan tourist village, Governor of Tozeur, Mohamed Mansouri said Monday.
The news reported by the official news agency TAP, indicates that a meeting was held between the local governor and the project managers. Needs in work force and technical means were discussed.
Mansouri said the project will create jobs and give fresh impetus to direct tourism investments. The project will open, on the other hand, broad prospects for international air transport by allowing the establishment of air links with the capitals of Arab Gulf countries and upgrading hotels in the region.
