Tunisia: Qatari pledges $ 97 million in loan

Qatar will grant Tunisia a loan of $ 97 million. The loan will be used to finance development projects, said Ambassador of Qatar to Tunisia Saad bin Nasser Hamidi.

In an interview with newspaper “Al Sharq,” the diplomat said a committee of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs will study these future projects which will be located in the Southeast, Southwest, Mideast and Midwest of the country, on the instructions of Emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

These projects would generate about 70,000 employment positions.
