The Master Card-CrescentRating (world’s leading authority on Halal travel) Global-Muslim Travel Index-2016 was published Wednesday, March 23, 2016, by MasterCard.
Out of 130 holiday destinations for Muslims, Tunisia was ranked 14th; it is ahead of Egypt, 17th and Algeria 22nd.
The Global Muslim Travel Index 2016 is based on several indicators, namely the arrival of Muslim visitors in 2015, ease of communication, airline connections, the requirement or not of visas, airport facilities and the provision of accommodation options.
