Tunisia was ranked 58th out of 135 countries in UNIDO’s Industrial Competiveness Report published in late September 2013.
Tunisia was ranked ahead of Morocco (66th) and Algeria (82nd).
The Report of United Nations Industrial Development Organization assesses each country’s industrial competitive edge and performance using indicators related to the capacity to produce and export competitive manufactured goods, the structural changes of high technological added-value sectors and the impact of industrial production on the global market.
