According to the report, Tunisia has an average monthly salary of around USD 1,600. Its economy is based on manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, and public-sector employment. Despite recent budgetary pressures, Tunisia continues to maintain relatively stable wages within the region.
Fourth and fifth places are occupied by Kenya (USD 1,400 per month) and Algeria (the equivalent of USD 1,300), respectively.
