Tunisia: sale of confiscated property helped collect 2.6 billion dinars (Minister)

In just over nine years, the sale of confiscated assets (companies, holdings, land, etc.) has brought the State the sum of 2.6 billion dinars, until the end of December 2019.

This is what Ghazi Chaouachi, Minister of State Property and Land Affairs indicated at a hearing by the Parliamentary Committee of Administrative Reform, Good Governance, Fight against Corruption and Control of the Management of Public Funds.

This package was generated mainly through the sale of holdings (2.05 billion dinars), land (246 million dinars) and assets (160 million dinars), he added.
