The Tunisian Company of Tire Industries (STIP) has just published its business indicators for the year ended December 31, 2021.
The only manufacturer of tires in Tunisia has achieved last year a record turnover of 120 million dinars, against 72 million in 2020, recording a growth of 68%.
This performance is due to the strong increase in revenue from the local market from 62.9 million dinars in 2020 to 106.4 million last year.
As for export sales, they went up from 9.2 million dinars to 14.5 million between December 2020 and December 2021.
In addition, the company’s outstanding bank debt has virtually stagnated at the end of last year compared to December 2020 to 75.6 million dinars.
