Works of the technical committees of the Open Skies Project with the European Union (EU) kicked-off last week-end during the meeting of the committee in charge of the project.
Works of the Committee are in the context of preparations for the second round of negotiations with the EU scheduled for December 2013, The Ministry of Transport said in a statement.
These committees focus on the legislative and regulatory compliance with the European legal framework governing civil aviation, the field of operation of the infrastructure as well as the restructuring of airline companies and competitiveness.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the results of the first round of negotiations, approve the relevant report and develop a roadmap for the draft agreement on the open skies, adds the statement.
