Tunisia seeks to join Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa

“Tunisia is continuing its efforts to join the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa”, Industry and Trade Minister Zied Ladhari told TAP news agency.

He also recalled the initiatives of the Tunisian government towards better African integration, including the decision to establish trade representation offices in 5 African countries in 2017.

“We are in the process of selecting the countries that will house these offices,” the minister said.
