The rise of imports, including capital goods, did not exceed 3.1%, against 14% in 2012. In value terms, exports are estimated during that period at 25,459.9 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) and imports to 6,001.6 MTD, which has improved the coverage by 1.4% to 70.7%.

The trade deficit has thus recorded a slight decrease between 2012 and 2013 (11 months) from 10,703.8 MTD to 10,541.7 MTD, said the INS.
