Travel and Leisure Agency “Sirènes Voyages” has scheduled a flight from Paris to Matmata-Gabes airport on July 12, 2018, commercial director of the Company, Mehdi Ben Younes said Monday.
A return flight is also scheduled on September 1, 2018 from Matmata-Gabes airport to Paris, he added.
Bookings for these flights have started, said the same source, noting that the agency plans in the future to organize a weekly scheduled flight from Paris and other European cities to Matmata-Gabes.
During a working session held at the headquarters of the governorate of Gabes, the participants stressed the importance of encouraging this initiative, which aims to promote tourism activity in the region.
