SOTETEL has just published its interim financial statements closed on June 30, 2021.
These statements show a half-year net loss of 822 thousand dinars, against a net loss of 3.6 million dinars in the first half of last year.
The subsidiary Tunisia Telecom has achieved a turnover of 17 million dinars at the end of June last year, against 13 million a year earlier, up 31%, including 16.6 million dinars from sales on the local market.
As for exports reached only 372 thousand dinars, against 624 thousand dinars in the first half of last year, down 40%.
Operating expenses amounted to 18 million dinars, against 16.3 million in the first half of last year, an increase of 11%, including 6.9 million dinars of personnel costs.
To this effect, the operating result for the period comes out in deficit of 696 thousand dinars, compared to a negative result of 3 million dinars in the first half of 2020.
The net financial expenses have almost stagnated to stand at 761 thousand dinars, against 742 thousand dinars last year.
