The interim financial statements of the Bank of Tunisia and the Emirates (BTE), closed on June 30, 2021, showed a positive equity of 114.890 MD, including a net loss of 4.980 MD.
The bank, several times vainly proposed to the sale, however, achieved an NBI in rise of 14.55 MD compared to 19.805 MD as of June 2020.
It is in particular the various allocations to the provisions (A total of 21.380 MDT), and the heavy wage bill of 17.021 MDT of the first six months that will lead the BTE to an already deficit operations result.
