Tunisia: Tourism revenues decrease by 19% as of July 20

Cumulative tourism revenues have declined by 19% to 1 billion dinars, as of July 20, according to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT).

On the other hand, the cumulative labor income went up 30% to 3.771 billion dinars, compared to the same period last year.

As for the accumulated foreign debt servicing, it dropped 25% to 4.2 billion dinars, as of July 20, 2021, while they were up to 5.6 billion dinars, in July 2021.

Regarding the overall refinancing volume, it amounted to 11.1 billion dinars, as of July 28, 2021, up 11%, compared to the same period last year.

Similarly, the total inter-bank transactions have risen by nearly 15%, to 1.5 billion dinars.
