The stock market closed near to balance (-0.03%) at 8962.8 points on a low volume of TND 1.3 million, according to stock market broker “Tunisie Valeurs”.
OfficePlast shares were the biggest gainers. Shares in the office and school supplies specialist rose 4.5% to TND 1.170, without attracting any inflows. Nevertheless, the stock remains in negative territory for the year (-27% correction).
BT shares regained some of their color during the session. The share price of Tunisia’s oldest bank rose by 1.7% to TND 5.340 dinars, with TND 43,000 dinars traded during the session.
Shares of SOTIPAPIER were the worst performers on the Tunindex. The Kraft paper and test liner producer’s stock fell 5.5% to TND 6.400D, mobilizing a modest volume of TND 45,000.
BH Bank ended the session on a gloomy note. The state-owned bank’s shares lost 2.2% to TND 13.500, generating a low volume of TND 64,000 during the session.
Another state-owned bank performed poorly during the session. BNA saw its share price fall by 0.1% to TND 7.790D. The most sought-after stock during the session, BNA supplied the market with TND 195,000 of capital.
