Tunisia has received preliminary approval from the World Bank to grant funding worth 200 million dinars (MTD), over the next five years in order to develop broadband Internet connectivity in Tunisia.
The announcement was made by Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and ICT Taoufik Jelassi on the sidelines of the Business and Technology Convention “CAT 2014,” organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry (API) from October 16 to 18, at the Exhibitions Park in Kram.
