With 246,379 passengers during the month of January 2014, national carrier Tunisair has posted an increase of 7.7 % in the total passenger traffic compared to January 2013 (228, 673 passengers) and a growth of 25.5 % compared to the same period in 2010 (196,159 passengers), though the number of charter passengers in January 2014 was the lowest in the last 5 years (3,557 charter passengers in January 2014 against 21,940 in 2010).
Tunisair also recorded the best load factor in the last five years with 72% for the month of January 2014 against 68.7 % in January 2010, up 3.3% compared to the same period of 2013 and 3.4% versus the month January 2010.
