National flag carrier Tunisair informs Sunday in a statement that all its flights to Sebha (Libya) international airport were suspended Sunday until further notice.
Contacted by TAP, Mrs. Imen Amara, Officer in charge of External Relations at Tunisair said that this decision was taken due to the deterioration of the security situation in the city of Sebha, located 660 km south of Tripoli.
She recalled that the company has suspended, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, all flights to Libya for security reasons and resumed them Sunday, except those to Sebha.
