Tunisia: Tunisair’s half-yearly revenues increase by 23% to 645 million dinars

National airline Tunisair has just published its activity indicators for the first half of the year, during which the number of passengers increased by 10.7% over the same period in 2017 to 1,702,519 passengers.

This growth is mainly due to the increase in regular &additional activity by 10.5% over one year to 1,592,285 passengers.

As a result, the load factor went from 73.6% at the end of June 2017 to 73.2% at June 30th.

As for transport revenues, they posted an increase of 23.5% to 645 million dinars against 522.6 million a year earlier.

In addition, fuel expenditures rose by 42% to 168.3 million dinars while staff costs increased by 5.2% to 101.8 million dinars at the end of last June.

Regarding the indebtedness, it posted an increase of 42 million dinars (+ 4%) at the end of June, compared to the end of December 2017 from 1.06 billion dinars to 1.1 billion.
