Tunisia: UADH Group announces a 60% drop in turnover by 2021

The UADH group’s revenues fell by 61% to 62.4 million dinars in 2021, compared to 160 million in 2020.

The group justifies this considerable drop in turnover by the termination of the concession contract for the CITROEN and DS brands by the STELLANTIS company.

The group would like to specify on this subject that a legal action is still pending before the courts in Tunisia and France and that no judgment has been pronounced so far.

The wage bill has decreased following the implementation of social rehabilitation programs for the various subsidiaries of the UADH Group. It went from 23 million dinars in 2020 to 19.7 million last year.

As for net financial expenses, they stabilized at 15.3 million dinars. While investment income amounted to 9 million dinars, compared to 8.1 million as of December 31, 2020, an increase of 11%.

The Group, which has not yet published its consolidated financial statements relating to the 2018 financial year, has not communicated in its activity indicators on its outstanding debt.
