Tunisia: Value of industrial exports up 2.5% to TND 38.2 billion until end August

The value of Tunisian industrial exports increased by 2.5% to 38.2 billion dinars during the first eight months of 2025, compared to the same period last year, according to data published by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).

APII statistics also showed that exports from the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear sector generated revenues of about 7.4 billion dinars, followed by the agri-food industry (nearly 4.1 billion dinars), the chemical industry (2.5 billion dinars), and the mechanical and electrical industries (2 billion dinars).

Regarding investment intentions declared to the agency’s various departments, they amounted to 1.2 billion dinars, which will be used to finance more than 1,900 projects and create over 20,000 jobs once they enter the production phase.

As for declared investments in the services sector, they amounted to about 783.3 million dinars, which will enable the creation of 7,031 projects and 35,661 new jobs.
