Tunisia ranks 69th in Global Energy Competitiveness Index

Tunisia was ranked 69th in the first edition of the “Global Energy Competitiveness Index” of States, released Monday by “Institut Choiseul” and KPMG.

This groundbreaking study sought to evaluate the “energy competitiveness” of 146 countries, through a combination of criteria involving quality of “energy mix”, citizens’ access to electricity, and the compatibility of energy policies in relation to environmental issues.

The index will be reviewed annually to monitor and assess the evolution of the position of countries in the world.
