Deputy King Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today met the Tunisian Prime Minister, Mehdi Jomaa at the Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, the Deputy King highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Republic of Tunisia and the wider region, an essential element in the tackling of regional and international challenges.
He praised the collective national efforts in ensuring Tunisia continues in its path towards stability and prosperity.
The meeting provided the opportunity for the Deputy King and Prime Minister Jomaa to discuss key areas of coordination and collaboration between the two nations, particularly in the fields of trade and economic affairs.
The Deputy King further highlighted Tunisia’s strategic location in North Africa, the trade opportunities presented by its close proximity to Europe, and the country’s track record in preserving its substantial Arab culture and history.
In response, Prime Minister Jomaa expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and praised Bahrain’s commitment to nurturing ties with its Arab neighbours.
