A Moroccan delegation of more than 45 business leaders is expected in Congo 25-26 September to explore with public and private Congolese partners business opportunities in the energy sector, according to an official statement issued here on Friday.
Initiated by the Morocco Export and the Moroccan Federation of Electricity, Electronics and Renewable Energy, the mission’s objective is help Congo benefit from Moroccan expertise and promote effective and sustainable management of energy resources.
“Morocco is ready technically, politically and economically for this strategic partnership initiated as part of the South-South cooperation,” according to the Moroccan energy minister, Abdel Kader Amara, who emphasized the benefits derivable from partnerships such as the development of urban and rural electricity for the economies of countries south of the Sahara.
