A decree on the adoption of the financial protocol, under which Tunisia secured a USD 300-million-loan from Algeria was published in the Official Gazette (French: JORT) dated December 13, 2021.
This financial protocol was signed on December 9, 2021, between the two governments of Algeria and Tunisia. Its publication in the JORT takes place the day before Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune begins a two-day state visit.
