Tunisia: energy investment down 5.6% compared to 2014 and 25.4% over 2012

The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) released the latest statistics on foreign investment.

The distribution of FDI by sector, at the end of January 2015, puts great emphasis on the energy sector with 85 million dinars, down 5.6% compared to 2014 and 25.4% compared in 2012.

The industry sector ranks second with 11.5 million dinars, up 90.9% compared to 2014 and 15.1% in comparison to 2013.

Regarding the services sector, investments totaled 5.3 million dinars, posting an increase of 16.5% compared to the year 2014, the source added.
