During the nine months of 2021, a remarkable increase was recorded in the national primary energy resources (production and royalty from Algerian gas) compared to the same period in 2020, reaching 3.83 million tons of oil compared to 2.87 million tons, according to w the monthly report on the status of oil and the energy sector until the end of September 2021 issued last Thursday.
This is mainly due to the increase in the national production of hydrocarbons following the entry into production of the concession for the exploitation of the “Menzel” field on January 7, 2021 and the gradual increase in the production of the Nawara field, in addition to the increase in the royalty on Algerian gas.
