Tunisia: 10 billion dinars injected in state enterprises in 2020

The State had injected directly into its companies and institutions an amount of 9.9 billion dinars in 2020, (8.1 billion provided in the Finance Act), against 8.6 billion in 2019, up 1.3 billion dinars.

According to the report of the Ministry of Finance on state enterprises, the amount injected in 2020 by the State in its enterprises and institutions represents 8.9% of GDP in Tunisia, against 7.5% of GDP in 2019.

In addition, 60% of the funds injected, nearly 6 billion dinars, have been allocated to state enterprises that benefit from subsidy, namely the STIR, STAG, the Grain Board, CNRPS and CNSS.
